The Joy of Physical Class

How exciting and wonderful it is to sit in a room on uncomfortable wooden benches crowded with other young eager people we call students while all our attention is drawn towards the person in front of us - the teacher -, who talks while we are silent, listening, intently. I can feel the enthousiasm flowing through my body. It feels like I am being filled with happiness, from the entire situation, from the people around me, the atmosphere of the old building, with its wooden benches and stained glass, the trees blowing in the wind visible through them, the teacher and the happiness he emits. He walks from left to right, moving his arms, giving expression to his thought. Nothing of this is lost to the framework of the webcam.

It is Monday 13 September and it is great. The personal contact, the meeting of the gaze of the teacher and the talking with my fellow students afterwards. I think I am going to enjoy this.
